Even though peppermint is not a flavor I like (I much prefer all the exotic fruit flavors they have out now!!), this Paper Nest Doll digi that is called Peppermint Princess is adorable, don't you think? I couldn't color her up in anything else but red and white. I really wanted to add some stickles to her outfit and the candy canes, but the last time I used this fine point red pen, it ran together with the stickles and made a mess, so I didn't dare take the chance at ruining it. Okay, so Plan B was to add a bit of glitzy ribbon, shiny brads and a glittery snowflake as the flower center. The candy cane in the middle of the bow is a brad that I cut the backing off and hot-glued. The red bow itself was part of a previous fantastic Christmas gift from my BFF, who pre-tied an array of colors for me, as she knows my talent is definitely NOT making bows -- so, on that note, thank you again, Gail - I'm trying to use them, rather than "hoard" - LOL.
