Just a little note . . .
Thought I'd share this Tilda card that I donated a while back to Bring Smiles to Seniors, a very worthwhile charity that distributes cards to so many, somewhat forgotten, nursing home residents. I've seen quite a drop in card challenges, along with others not being kept up, so I probably won't be posting as many creations this upcoming new year. At this point, even the challenges I did want to enter, there are issues with the link-ups. Totally not worth the aggravation and stress. Wishing all who might happen to read this, a happy, healthy and blessed new year!

Holly and birds . . .
I chose this Ching-Chou Kuik digital to color up for my card, seeing as this is the last month for them to hold a challenge. So many challenges have closed over time, or fail to update their sites, and leave one hanging, which is discouraging. I colored with prisma pencils and gamsol, adding stickles to the butterfly. I did some faux stitching around my oval diecut frrame, and added tiny pearls that also match the pearls in my corner diecuts. A bit of lace along the bottom and then topped with a sheer polka dot ribbon, completes my holiday creation. I've entered the following challenges:

Fill my stocking . . .
I chose this Penny Black Christmas dog stamp to make up a card for an 8-yr old, autistic boy, who has collected Christmas cards since he was four. There was a request to send cards and make his Christmas happy, so I couldn't possibly resist. I've colored with prisma pencils and gamsol, punched a couple circles to look like brads (going through the mail, it's best if the card stays flat), and the sentiment is washi tape. Hope everyone's holiday "to do" list is getting checked off, one by one! Blessings to all. I've entered the following challenges:

Get well soon . . .
When a close friend came down with a sinus infection, I thought of sending her a pick-me-up card, and this is what I came up with. Since it was being sent off by mail, I kept the design simple and flat, for ease of delivery. Hope everyone stays well during this winter season. I've entered the following challenges:

Thinking of you . . .
This is a beautiful digital from Ching-Chou Kuik, which I've colored with prisma pencils and gamsol (you can tell by that, I'm "old school") and I added stardust stickles to the butterflies. I used my favorite corner die cut, adding little pearls to each. I attached my flowers with flower-shaped brad centers, added some foliage, and finished by topping it off with a little bow. Thanks for coming in to view my creation - I hope it makes you smile. I've entered the following challenges:

Sharing apples . . .
This Penny Black hedgehog stamp is adorable, as are all her hedgehog creations. I've colored with prisma pencils and gamsol, and just kept the design simple, as the image is a good size. So, just die cut the image and then the scalloped die cut behind it, and it's ready to send off, as it's nice and flat for ease of mailing. The stores are inundated with apples this time of year, so hope you're enjoying a variety of them. I've entered the following challenges:

Too cute to spook . . .
This cutie pie is from The Paper Shelter and is one of the many adorable images in their coloring book. Sorry for the unclear photo, but our days here have been rainy and gloomy. All the attention is on the image, so I kept to a simple, basic design, with just the coloring and the addition of a couple small doilies tucked behind my framing. Wishing everyone a safe and happy halloween. I've entered the following challenges:
