Sitting pretty

Isn't this Sherri Baldy image adorable?  I've colored her with prismas and then put her in a garden-like setting with the foliage diecuts and the addition of flowers and butterflies.    There's a strip of lace along the bottom (sorry, hard to see, unless you get a close-up look), and then I put a strip of scalloped dotted swiss ribbon along the center.   A couple layered doilies and a few pearls and there you have this sweetie.

    So I'm cruising through cards and run across this one and think: holy crap, this card is gorgeous in the pink, black and white theme. I've learned something from your cards...I need to quit using solid colors for my first layer and use some prints. I see your cards and when you use 2 different patterns, the cards just jump off the screen at me. Your layout is fabulous and the flowers and vines are so pretty (and I like cards that are 'balanced', too). Again, with the pretty doilies that add so much to the card! This one is a beauty.
