In the garden . . .

Well, this digital from Saturated Canary (which I don't think is in business any longer) looks as if she enjoys her time, surrounded by flowers.   I did faux stitching around my oval layered frame, added the fence die cut, as well as the foliage, and topped it by adding more flowers.  A few gems at the upper corner and some punched hearts added, and voila, this card is complete and ready to mail off.

I ruff you

Who doesn't enjoy being greeted by their family pet on any return home.   I was happy to find this Tim Horton set at Michael's, which included 3 different dogs with a few accessories, the die cuts for them, and also the embossing folder.   The blue stripe across is washi tape, and I added a metal heart brad, and used a border die for the paw prints.

Birthday barbeque

Since masculine cards are a challenge for me, I just went with a Bugaboo image, that works for a summer/birthday card, as most guys are grill masters.  I colored with prisma pencils and gamsol, added the die cut sentiment and number, and attached a couple candi-dots above the image.  Easily put together, once the design was decided on and flat enough to mail off, to arrive intact.

Garden delight

Sorry for the poor quality photo, but our weather has really been overcast, which doesn't make for a great picture, so I just gave up and well, you get the idea, at least.   This floral image comes from the Bugaboo store, which I've used die cuts to frame around, as well as the "love" sentiment.  The ladybugs are puffy stickers purchased at Michael's, I believe.   I added stickles to the butterflies for a touch of glitz   These were fun to put together, so I made a dozen of them, which will be generating smiles from recipients of Bring Smiles to Seniors, a fabulous charity, which I hope you check out and may become a part of - just click on the site to find out the details.

Spring birthday

This cute digital is from Mo Manning, which I colored with prisma pencils and gamsol.  The shiny spots at the left are candi-dots, and I've attached a layered flower, using a ladybug button (with the shank cut off the back) for the center, with a die cut for the greenery behind.  A couple doilies tucked behind the image, and a framed sentiment placed at the upper corner to complete this birthday card.

Friend and floral blossoms

I took this sentiment stamp (on a wood block, but no company name on it, sorry) and then die cut the framing.   I attached the flowers with brad centers and placed a die cut behind for the foliage, and I think they made for pretty floral cards, which, once again were sent off to the Bring Smiles to Seniors program.   Check them out, as you may want to get involved yourself.

Oh no birthday

I couldn't resist coloring up this Mo Manning digital for a friend's birthday -- this gal's expression is priceless!  I've colored her with prisma pencils and gamsol, tucked a couple lacy doilies behind, and added the candles and cupcake.  Thanks for coming into my blog to check her out.
