Over the top celebration

Hahaha - these little HouseMouse characters appear to have "taken the cake" a bit too much in their birthday celebrations!  I've colored the image with both prismas and regular colored pencils, then added glitter to the frosting.  I've added a 3-D party hat, sentiment and brads and left enough of the cute cupcake background paper to show through.

Floral happiness

I do believe this image is from Crafter's Companion, but I'm not 100% positive.   She's been colored with prismas and the doily die cut added behind her.   Since this is a children's charity card, I left it on the clean and simple side for safety.

Thoughts of you

I don't know about you, but this sweet little gal from Ching-Chou Kuik stole my heart and I just had to have her.  She's been colored with prismas and then a few feminine touches added for a lace/frills touch.   I really like this soft, creamy, peachy look to this and hope you do, too.

What's up

I have a weakness for cute bears, so this one from Lili of the Valley was a must-have for me.  He's been colored with prismas, and I must say, I love how the balloons turned out.  I kept the embellishments to a minimum and flat, so it wouldn't cost extra postage in mailing, nor would it get damaged along the way.  The happy birthday sentiment was done with a die cut.
Thanks for coming in to view my creation.

Mail call

Hey there, all, can you believe it's time once again to announce the next challenge theme (the ever popular "anything goes") at Love To Scrap - where does time fly to !!   We have three sponsors once again that have furnished prizes, and they are Sparkle 'n Sprinkle (of whose image I used here, entitled "a little note"), Dr Digi's House of Stamps and Limited Runs Stamps.   I'm not certain if this little gal is sending off mail, or reaching up to get it, but it sure is a pretty mailbox, isn't it, with the blossoming vine!  I've used drywall tape behind my image for some texture, and then added diecut foliage and flowers.   The trio of circles are candi-dots.   Hope you can come join in on the fun and a chance at a prize!

Mousey love

This cute mouse comes from Bugaboo - it looks like he's chosen the best flower, along with a sneaky little ladybug on it.  I've colored with prismas and other than layering and enamel dots, I've kept the embellishments to a minimum to make for easy mailing.

Lillian in lilies

I was so tickled to be given an opportunity to be a Guest Designer for Art by MiRan!   And, since I had free reign on the image I could choose, of course, I went with this one that has my name "Lillian" - even though MiRan has a huge selection of cute digitals.   I've colored her using prismas and gamsol.  Tucked a lacy doily behind to give her a more feminine touch (even though I did use my favorite color of pink), added a couple flowers, some foliage, pearls, bow and corner diecuts, and there you have it.   Hope you get the chance to join in on the challenge, and who knows, you may be the next lucky winner!
