Building sandcastles

The high heat index tends to entice people to the beach to enjoy the sand and water, just like this little guy did, along with his pup.   This image comes from Tiddly Inks and he's all set with his sand tools and shades.  I've colored this with prismas and did some faux stitching around, a strip of a water wave washi tape is at the bottom, with diecuts added.   I sponged blue around the cloud, gray on the anchor, and green on the seahorse.   Ah, how can one possibly choose a favorite diecut, but I have to admit that I get the most use out of my circle dies and hope they never wear out -- they're so handy, cut great and it's fabulous for layering, whether it's one layer or multiples.   Now, either go and get crafty yourself, or get outdoors and enjoy the summertime while it lasts!!
I would like to enter the following:

  1. I LOVE this card! I'm not big on boy cards and make very few so when I see a cute one, I jump right on it for future ideas. This one is precious. GREAT image, colored wonderfully, and your circle die cuts are awesome, and you layer colors to match your papers awesomely. I adore the diagonal paper with the polka dots. This card caught my eye and I had to let you know how cute it is! GREAT die cuts on this, too! :) XXOO, Gail
