Birthday cupcake

Seeing as I needed a birthday card, as well as wanting to participate in the challenge at Tiddly Inks (primary colors - red/blue/yellow),  I chose this cute cupcake Tiddly Inks girl and then worked with those colors.  Since I want to mail this card without having to worry about gems falling off or poking thru the envelope, I used a hole punch to make the red dots for the corners and cherries on the cupcake die - came out great, don't you think?  I will also enter this creation to The Paper Shelter (punches and dies) , Send a Smile 4 Kids (punches/diecuts), Sweet Stamps (anything goes) and 7KidsCollegeFund (anything goes).

  1. This is simply adorable and what a great idea about punching a hole instead of adding something on the paper that could fall off. Love the colors of this and the image. That cupcake punch is fabulous and great diecut corners. Thanks for joining our challenge at The Paper Shelter for Punches and Diecuts! Your cards are all adorable on your blog...I've gone back and looked at them and think you have a great eye for layout and color. Your images are all so darned cute and colored so well...you are talented with your colored pencils! Beautiful card. Hugs, Gail
