I made this card for a dear friend who loves to read mystery novels, so this Sassy Cheryl image and verse, fit her to a tee. I colored with prisma pencils, and coordinated with the striped and swiss dotted background papers. The upper corners were done with a punch, and a lacy doily was tucked behind. It looks as if the ladybugs are enjoying the story, too.
I've entered these challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - AG
Di's Digi Designs - things w/wings or tails
Digi Doodle Studios - spots/stripes
Double Trouble - AG
Pammie's Inky Pinkies - wings
So pretty card! Thank for playing with us at Di's Digi challenge.

ReplyDeleteSweet card, Lillian! Your coloring is great and the doily finish the card perfectly. Like your friend, I love to read mysteries (plus crime fiction). I don't remember when I could not read. Thank you for playing along at Double Trouble Challenge #34.
