Reading is fun

I made this card for a dear friend who loves to read mystery novels, so this Sassy Cheryl image and verse, fit her to a tee.  I colored with prisma pencils, and coordinated with the striped and swiss dotted background papers.  The upper corners were done with a punch, and a lacy doily was tucked behind.  It looks as if the ladybugs are enjoying the story, too.

    Sweet card, Lillian! Your coloring is great and the doily finish the card perfectly. Like your friend, I love to read mysteries (plus crime fiction). I don't remember when I could not read. Thank you for playing along at Double Trouble Challenge #34.

    Love the corner die cuts with the doily, gives it a nice interesting look, I never think to use corner dies like that. The image is adorable and nice coloring. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble.
