Haven of daisies

This Lacy Sunshine gal must have a green thumb when it comes to growing daisies - and she looks quite pleased with her success!   I've colored her with prisma pencils and gamsol, and punched hearts from the background paper to add to the edge.  I used a pretty, white daisy background paper, but I see I've covered the majority of it up with other layers -- makes me wonder why us crafters bother choosing the perfect papers, then cover them up - teehee!   Oh well.  The 3-D daisies/ladybugs I added were from a set recently purchased from Michael's, then I added the little white bow from a HobbyLobby purchase.   Then it was a matter of tucking a lacy doily behind, adding a butterfly and pearls, and voila, spring cuteness!

  6. It's not just cute, it's stinkin' adorable. This card is one of my favs. The black, yellow and white scheme and then coloring this little image in red is a real pop to this card. I adore the layout of this and all your little touches are fabulous. The daisies, the bow around the stems, the ladybug and butterfly (is gorgeous), doilies, pearls and that awesome paper and layout. This card is at the top of my list and I'd vote you as winner if I was on any of the DTs you've entered it in! ;) XXOO, Gail
