Girl's birthday card

This is a PennyBlack stamp and I thought she's so adorable to use for a young child's birthday card - she'll be sent on to one of the children's charities and hope she makes someone's day special.

This card was made for our grandson that became a teenager yesterday. He also likes "hot and spicy" things, so this HouseMouse image fit the bill perfectly for his special card . . .

Tilda is thinking of you

Finally - broke into my Tilda images and worked up a card - been super busy at work and just TOO many cute stamps out now to choose from! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer . . .

Tilda skipping rope

Tilda is enjoying summer - a simpler designed card, but once again, going into the children's charity package, so cannot use embellishments they might pick off and possibly swallow. Also entering this into the Scrapalicious #12 challenge, which is "anything summer".

HOT - gotta have ice cream

Ice cream is a definite necessity with temp's running in the high 90's + high humidity here - just gotta lick fast !!

And, believe me, the purples and pinks on this card are MUCH brighter in real life - whaddya think, Vivi - I used purple - isn't she adorable . . . an old TAC stamp set I have.

Simply Snoopy

Not much in embellisments here, but wanted to simply make a "happy" card for the children's charities. I don't think they'll be able to resist smiling back at Snoopy.

Ladybug friends

This happy image I thought would work for either boys or girls - who can resist such a smiling face? The ladybug at the bottom corner is an old Sizzix diecut that I still love its design.

So, it's apparent that I was on a "bee" kick today - had to find something appropriate to use this cute bg paper with and I WAS missing my favorite PB hedgehogs, so this one jumped right out of my drawer and begged to be colored up . . .

This ought to put a little bit of sunshine into some child's day, don't you think - managed to have some craft time today, as it was too HOT to be going outdoors -- 95 degrees in Michigan today.

Fairy in lavendar

Alright, so I didn't fool you - same image as the previous card, only colored and done in lavendar instead. Oops, just a touch of pink in the bg paper - not bad, huh . . .

Are you impressed - I didn't do this card in pink . . . this is such a cute image and although it LOOKS like a Lili of the Valley stamp, it's not . . . she's one out of a set by KanbanCrafts that I found at a local scrapbook store.

Looks like these little guys may have gone beyond their boundaries, huh? Who can resist a luscious birthday cake, though, no matter what kind or size it is . . . I say, where's the ice cream????

Bedtime Riley

I think out of all the Riley the moose stamp images, I like this one the best of all . . . there's just something about a teddy bear and bunny slippers - the pajamas are adorable, too, and I added stickles to the little moons if you can't see it. Simple, but kids should enjoy this card.

Daisy chain

This adorable "daisy chain" stamp is by LOTV (Lili of the Valley) and I've SO fallen in love with their images. Gail and Monnie bought me this stamp, so had to put it to good use. Of course, I had to use PINK for this cutey-pie . . .

Bouquet for you

Sorry this sweet image from LOTV didn't come out very clear - that's cause the 3-D flowers on the corner raised my scanner lid a bit. But, you get the general idea and the layout here. I think Monnie liked being the recipient of this one . . .

This card was SO much fun to put together for my BFF, Gail -- sorry the scan isn't as clear as it should be. Are you impressed not to find pink as my primary color - lol . . .

Summertime fun

You may need sunglasses to deflect the bright green! This card worked up pretty neat for the kids, once I figured out the layout. The border is a SU embossing folder and the girl/verse came in a Stampendous clear acrylic stamp set.

This cute bear is being entered into the Challenge #9 sketch entry on www.scrapalicioususa.blogspot.com site, then serving a double purpose as to going into a children's charity card box . . .

The cutest turtle

Is this not the most adorable turtle image? This stamp is by HighHopes and I chose him for my "thank you" challenge card for this time around. I had a lot of fun putting this card together and made two more similar to this, just using different bg papers.
